Relief to operate two pumps

In this section you will find relief valves used in systems with two pumps, working in parallel and supplying the same consumer. As a rule, in the system described, there is a pump with a high capacity but operating at low pressure and a smaller pump operating at a much higher pressure. When the set pressure is reached, the flow from the larger pump is discharged to the overflow. From this point, the smaller pump operating at a higher pressure consumes less energy.
